The ridger, as the name indicates, is capable of drawing ridges and furrows particularly for row crops like potatoes, chilies, sugarcane, tobacco, bananas etc. There is a technique of using the ridger i.e. use it when the soil is a bit damp or wet and also after the land has been tilled either once or twice. The unwanted roots are also uprooted by making use of this farm implement. It is generally compatible to Massey Ferguson tractors having power of 50HP or above. In order to check the depth of function, there exists a hydraulic mechanism within the farm implement.
